Tom Higgins, Design Director at H²a
After schooling at Sheffield University for his Bachelor and Masters of Architecture, Tom qualified as a RIBA chartered Architect in 2003 having already had his career spanning Dublin, Ireland and Texas, USA. Returning to Manchester, England to work for BDP and later HKR in 2007.
Tom walked in to the HK scene in 2009 to firstly work for Dennis Lau Ng Chun Man Architects & Engineers and Leigh & Orange Architects. Tom continued to grow professionally, being awarded LEAD accreditation in 2013.
In 2015, Tom + Jenni set up Higgins + Higgins Ltd, creating small design projects + a number of small architectural + interior design commissions. Many commissions were in collaboration with ANJ.
In 2018, Tom + Jenni relocated back to the UK to start Higgins + Higgins Architects Ltd.
Jenni Higgins, Managing Director at H²a
Jenni graduated from Oxford Brookes and then from Manchester Metropolitan to complete Part 3 under RIBA NW. She qualified with distinction in 2006 and took a job with BDP Manchester until 2009 when she and Tom moved to Hong Kong.
From 2009 to 2011 she worked Dennis Lau + Ng Chun Man Architects + Engineers (DLN), who designed and built a huge number of Hong Kong's original and monumental sky scrappers.
With local and international building knowledge, she made the move to Benoy HK, an international multidisciplinary practice for 4 years.
In 2015, Jenni + Tom set up Higgins + Higgins Ltd, creating small design projects + a number of small architectural + interior design commissions. At the same time, Jenni worked for Design Corporation Ltd in Hong Kong. Here, Jenni Project Managed the Fitting out works designed by Kelly Hoppen Interiors, the Landscape designed by ALN and procured the FF+E as designed by Kelly Hoppen.
In 2018, Jenni and Tom relocated back to the UK to start Higgins + Higgins Architects Ltd.
